SEA-ME-WE 2

Film 4K – couleur – stereo – 29 min – 2017

Going further back on the course of a submarine cable, SEA-ME-WE 2 immerses us in Mumbai in a local war for the governance of the Internet. Alternating drift and investigation, several seemingly unrelated characters are found bound together to the same quest, in the traces of the submarine fiber optic cables that connect the infrastructures of the city. These routes are fed by historical accounts of the first telegraphic cables in the era of a colonised India.
